Peripherals
Okay, here we go. Just to start, I want to say, that I spent way too much money on different peripherals.
Keyboard
Currently in use:
- Keychron Q3 DE-ISO
- bought it with Gateron G Pro Red Switches, now switched (pun intended) to Gateron G Pro Brown
- Using a Wooden Palm Rest
- Only Wired Operation, and since this keyboard is pretty heavy, I only use it for my Main PC
- Keychron K3 DE-ISO Brown Switches
- I use it both wired and wireless, also for my Laptop (most of these crappy “Butterfly” Switches my laptop has are broken)
- Using the Keychron Keyboard Carrying Case for traveling to at least protect it somehow
Not in use anymore (or at least not regularly):
- Keychron K2
- Tried both Gateron Blue and Gateron Red Switches on it, like the feeling of the blue switches, but sometimes they are just too loud
- I personally don’t like the layout that much
- in addition: I bought it as ANSI-Version, which I wanted to try for a while, but since all other keyboards I use daily are ISO layout, I don’t get used to it (especially since this layout is missing some keys which are used quite heavily in the german language)
- Roccat Ryos MK Pro (Cherry Brown Switches)
- I used this for many years and it still works, but at some point I just wanted something new, that is also not that large on my desk
Mice
- Logitech G502 Hero
- Wired, so only using this at home
- Logitech G305 Lightspeed
- Wireless, using it sometimes on my Main PC, but mostly when I’m away from home
Headphones
Currently in use:
- Beyerdynamic DT 700 PRO X
- Bose NC 700
- HyperX Cloud 2
- Beyerdynamic Beat BYRD (Wired)
Formerly:
- Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless
- Sennheiser PC 363D
- Sony WH-1000XM4
- Only tested them, but since my Ears hurt quite a lot after wearing them for about 15-20 minutes already, I returned them. Probably not the fault of the headphones, but of my big ears, but yeah. Having my Ears hurt is just not worth it (the Noise Cancelling was great tho).
